Our very own Satomi Goo, along with fellow Dames of Le Dames d’Escoffier, hosted a fun and informative nutrition workshop for students, faculty and parents at Liholiho Elementary. They dined on Chia Pudding and Kale Smoothies as part of the National Food Day movement.

Joleen Oshiro wrote this article on Le Dames d’Escoffier, Hawaii Chapter’s Food Day event in the Star Advertiser:

About The Leaf Lover
Aloha, my name is Byron Goo. I started our company in 1995 in my garage. Tea has taken me all over the world since then and I continue to be a student of the leaf and of life. The Leaf Lover is a way for me to share about my passion for tea and our small business. I wear many hats including CEO of the company but I think of myself simply as a tea maker.

This blog is really wonderful! I can’t wait to read through the archives. I really enjoyed your lemon chamomile tea at the Alan Wong restaurant in the new International Marketplace. That’s saying a lot because I usually am not impressed with the tea selection at food establishments or even at markets around here. I’ve been to Target, Foodland Farms, Foodland regular, and Kokua Market and have not found your tea. I will go down the list of vendors listed on the website. I will find it! I will prevail!
